My name is Johnny Stepien, from Belgium, and I’ve been passionate about RC modelling since I was 12 — now 59, with a few Belgian Champion titles along the way. I’ve flown RC helicopters since 2012, always SAB machines and scale models, and I can tell you this: helicopter flying is tough on lipos. I’ve tried other brands, but only Optipower has truly delivered. I’ve relied on them for over 10 years — 6S 5300 & 5800 for my helicopters, 7S 5000 for speed helis, and Optimix 20% for my nitros. I regularly fly in France and Belgium, promote RC heli to all ages through my club, and since 2017, I’ve run a small shop dedicated to the very best RC heli products with local service.
