“Hi, I’m from Poole, Dorset, and I’ve been flying RC helicopters since 2011. I joined the Opti team in 2012 and have been flying OptiPower exclusively ever since—it’s been rock solid for me. Right now, I’m flying Goblin helicopters and have proudly been a team pilot for SAB since 2014. My setup includes OptiPower 5300 and 5000 packs for my 700-size electrics, 2700s for my smaller models, and 25% SLV fuel for my nitro machines.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to achieve a few competition wins, including HeliFest, the AIR RC Heli Competition, 1st in Intermediates at UK Heli Masters, and 2nd and 3rd in the Pro Class at HeliFest, plus a few podiums at the UK 3D Champs. I usually fly after work and on some Saturdays at the Dorset Model Helicopter Club, where I keep sharpening my skills.

Flying has always been a real passion of mine, and I’m currently working towards getting back into competition next year and pushing for more podiums. I’m also excited that my partner’s 9-year-old son, Arlo, has shown a big interest in flying—I’ve started training him, so keep an eye out for him in the future!”
